It is with great sadness that we announce that Bob Reading, who ran a haulage business at Westcott Venture Park for over two decades, died suddenly on 7th January.
TRR Transport started trading in 1971, Bob moved the business to Building 33 at Westcott 20 years ago and lived in Hardwick, Buckinghamshire.
He worked closely with Dave Wyatt of D Wyatt and Sons Ltd and everyone at Building 33 and was a friend of Adrian Fell of AJF Motor Engineers who says that Bob did much good.
Outside work Bob was one of the founder members of the Chiltern Hills Rally which is now in its 26th year. Bob enlisted the help of Adrian Fell to assist with this event over ten years ago and together they dedicated considerable time to establish the rally raising substantial funds for charities.
Bob will also be remembered for his love of motorbikes, namely Harley Davidson’s and Triumphs.
He is survived by his daughter and will be missed by all Westcott Venture Park.
Bob’s funeral will be held at 10:30am on 15th February at Watermead crematorium and then on to the Swan Whitchurch for the wake https://legcy.co/30GiDhx There will be a small convoy of classic vehicles, led by his Albion Lorry driven by Mark from TRR.
