The £2 million Westcott roundabout project which will provide direct access onto the A41 and improve road safety is expected to be completed by the autumn. The roundabout will replace a T-junction and provide a new dedicated access to Westcott Venture Park.
Contractors have already started diverting utilities and this week (w/c 3 February) began carefully transplanting a hedgerow and root system in High Street ahead of work on creating the roundabout.
The 40mph section will remain throughout construction and at certain times temporary three-way lights are needed to control traffic flows. Lights will be in operation on Wednesday 12 February between 7am and 4pm.
Please be aware that Thames Valley Police may carry out speed enforcement checks.
