Traffic update 30th March 2020

On Monday 6^th April the Council will be implementing 3-way lights at the Westcott junction for effectively four weeks.

The first three weeks will be 24hrs/day and the last week commencing 27^th April, will be daytime only from 07:00am to 16:30pm.

Lights will be removed over the weekends and bank holidays. Owing to vastly reduced traffic flows in the current situation, the Council do not expect disruption to be significant.

The Council will be working on the section of the A41 east of the existing junction, widening the carriageway and constructing a new traffic island, bus stop and drainage features. Therefore, the layout of the lights will be slightly different to what’s been seen in the last couple of months.
