Westcott forms part of the Aylesbury Vale Enterprise Zone with 75 acres of designated land.

The Westcott Enterprise Zone is a global leading centre in the field of space and satellite propulsion, building on the rich heritage of rocket technologies at the site.

The Westcott Space Cluster situated in the Enterprise Zone of Westcott aims to become globally recognised as an integral part of the UK space sector growth strategy and is supported by the European Regional Development Fund, Rockspring Hanover Property Unit Trust, Buckinghamshire Thames Valley Local Enterprise Partnership (BTVLEP) and the Satellite Applications Catapult.

Companies within the Space Cluster focus on propulsion, UAV development and next generation resilient communication networks that will develop a powerful ecosystem to accelerate the development of new technology and applications for high growth markets.

Installed in 2011, the Solar Park sits on 10 acres of former runway and consists of 6,102 panels. The Solar Park generates around a third of our current electricity requirement.
